Bathtime fun

There I was having my picture taken when along comes Maya... remind you of anyone??

Chillin' in book corner...

Here I am with my big sis, relaxing in our little book corner where I like to chew, sit on and mess up the books. Anything but actually read them...

MY WORTHING PARTY!

Me with my new cousin Baby Zaki and the new parents (and one old one...) at my Worthing b'day party! Not only did I eat cake, I indulged in a spot of houseplant earth. Yum. I've never seen Baba move so fast - and he was carrying a dustpan and brush, not a sight you see often.

WALKING!

My first proper day walking - Saturday 4 October 2008! Eat my dust!

Sibling hug

Well, I say hug, but it was more like I was caught unawares....

MY FIRST BIRTHDAY!

It was Jack's b'day too - and here's Maya blowing out the candles (on a cake made by the old dear - i don't know what was more amazing, the fact she made one herself or the fact it was edible)! Woo hoo - happy b'day to me (and my grandpa!)

Birthday boy unwell

This is me on my Oxted b'day with the Brio snail from Jack - sadly I was a bit below-par that day with a nasty cold and dribbly teeth, but I put a brave face on it!

My old man's a dustman...

Reckon we'd do well busking...

The Man in the Iron Le Creueset

Let me out! Actually, don't let me out - I like nothing better of an afternoon than clambering into the kitchen trolley and sitting in the large Le Creueset for a bit. Not only is it nice and snug around my botty, it irks my parents no end, which doubles the fun. Ha ha!

Me and Undie Will

Here I am with my Uncle Will, causing chaos and mustering up mayhem which - as you can see - my uncle was much amused by.

Action man

This is me enjoying a day at the park, I do like to keep fit although I also like crawling around on the ground picking up dead insects...

Chef!

Lost in thought and culinary musings, here I am learning to stand in early September at the kitchen...

Long time no me...

That mother is a right old lazy old toad, can't believe she's not documenting my daily doings! Anyway, since we last met, I've learned to walk and am uttering some sounds not dissimilar to Mama and Dada and - this is a Web exclusive - Baba! I'm a cheeky monkey and take great pleasure in being where I shouldn't (on the stairs), doing what I mustn't (shoving my hand down the toilet bowl) and eating what others couldn't (my own PK) - then when I'm caught red-handed (or, er, brown-handed) I giggle uncontrollably and even sometimes clap. Rob Unreconstructed, as my Uncle Ehs once said...

Summer's here

And the time is right, for crawling on the mat...all I need now is a hanky on my hand a pair of sandals with socks.

MY FIRST ATTEMPT AT CRAWLING!

Yes, master of the floor, king of the carpet, it is me, tentatively launching myself across the playmat.

Quenching my thirst on my own

Here is me demonstrating for one of the first times how to hold a cup, clever aren't I?

With my auntie Raans

Raans came to stay and she was great at looking after me and helping entertain me! In fact, I'd like her to come and stay every time she has a holiday from college!

Playtime

Me with a pair of trousers on my head. It's not funny what they do to me just for a cheap gag. I'll get my revenge when I'm old even to wield real power.

The Von Trapps

Yep, musical youth, that's me and my sister..I actually love the piano as it calms me down if I get a bit agitated (usually due to hunger...)

Hello up there!

Doesn't the world look different when you sit up? I've just about got the hang of sitting up now, although I can suddenly get a bit wobbly and go for a floor-dive when it's least expected.

My first snow fun

The snowman my sister made may have been bigger than me, but I still managed to be entertained by today's snow...Daddy claimed no one could pelt him with snowballs because he was carrying me, a poor excuse I thought, the coward.

ASBO teens

Chip off the old block me. This is me and the old man at my big sister's party, terrorising all those who dared suggest I was too young to join in the fun. [NB to readers - 10pm update: Rob has just pointed out that this picture is actually really hideous as it looks like Sam has got some huge withered hand...sorry but I can't figure out right now how to remove it from the blog and it is now freaking us all out!!! Will remove it asap after technical support can advise...]

Is this a dried apricot I see before me?

Ah food. I love looking at it, dribbling over it and then, my piece de la resistance, eating it!

Bridal day

This is my Big Sister decorating me in bridal feathers for the wedding day - she's v excited about being Emma's bridesmaid and regularly uses me as a stand in bride...

Bathtime fashion

Anyone seen Alice in Wonderland? Anyone seen the Cheshire Cat? My mother took what would have been a v cute pic were it not for the hideous angle which makes me look like I've got 17 chins....

Glamorous assistant

No, your eyes do not deceive you. That really is me, the short, balding one on the left, dressed in a ballet skirt and hanging from my breeches in the family room...Maya wanted me to dance with her, hence the outfit and hanging torture. I shall get her back in time, mark my words...

Space on the sofa for two...

My Big Sis is partial to the odd bit of Peppa Pig or sometimes Fifi and the Flowertots so I recently decided to join her on the sofa although, as you can see from my expression, I'm half-confused, half-bored by what was showing...

Relaxing at breakfast time

Breakfast Chez Gould is rather a dull affair as far as I'm concerned. I get some milk and then have to watch while the old girl and Big Sis sit and devour their first meal of the day. Despite this, I remain my usual cheery and relaxed self, managing my default look of surprise for the camera.

Playtime chez Gould

My Big Sis and I love to have a laugh under my mobile and she often hands me my hanging wooden toys as I now tend to grunt and groan in frustration if I can't reach!

Relaxing at home

I'm at my best when horizontal, as these two images prove. One, with my sister before bathtime, and one of me in a very fetching (hand-me-down) bovine sleepsuit. Smart eh?

Zzzzzzzzz

I nodded off in the Silver Cross on the bridge over the duck pond in Farningham while Maya and her gang fed the ducks...

Meet the Munsters (sorry, the Salman side of the clan)

Help! I've been kidnapped by a bunch of photo-fit convicts! Here I am on Boxing Day with my lovely Auntie Raans, Amma and my Big Sister Maya.

With my Pa

Howdy-doody Pa...this is me male-bonding with my old man. Yeah, high five Pa!

Baby Jesus-lookielikie

This is me auditioning for Stars in Their Eyes as the little Baby Jesus, v apt at this time of year (actually I am getting out of the bath, but seeing as my mother is such a divine being, this lends me a kind of the son of the Lord status).
